My therapeutic style

Life can be tumultuous. Thoughts and emotions can get the best of us, especially in distressing contexts, and our interpersonal relationships and self-care can become more challenging.

In my capacity as a qualified mental health professional, I establish a nurturing environment for individuals to openly express their emotional concerns. I guide them through the process of understanding and coping with these issues using practical strategies. My approach to mental health care is both clinical and holistic, considering the mind-body connection and your personality. My main modality is Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy; also integrating Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Psychodynamic approaches when appropriate. If requested, I also provide Christian faith counselling.

As your therapist, I will be dedicated to helping you heal from unhealthy relationships, generational trauma, generalized anxiety/stress, low mood, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and more. I employ a culturally sensitive framework to ensure personalized and effective support. I look forward to walking with you in your therapeutic journey.

More than just my work

I find movement and community is the best medicine, and I participate in maintaining my own mental health by attending drop-in dance, hot yoga, spin, or barre classes. The accountability to show up for myself and others is equally important!
