My therapeutic style

I strive to create a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore and understand your emotions, problem-solve through difficult situations, and develop resilience. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, or trauma, we will work collaboratively on your individual mental health goals.

In couples therapy, I am dedicated to supporting you and your partner with regaining a sense of emotional connection and safety. I can help you when you feel stuck in negative patterns and when you want to better understand your emotional needs and reactions in relationships.

Whether you’re in a monogamous, polyamorous, or open relationship, I can support with building a foundation for loving communication. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I highly value a sex positive approach and inclusive approach.

Experience

Anna is a Registered Social Worker with a Master's of Social Work from York University, a program dedicated to anti-oppressive approaches in the field. She completed her Undergraduate Degree from Trent University in Gender and Social Justice and Indigenous Studies. She is also an Ontario Certified Teacher and works part-time teaching Visual Arts.

More than just my work

Outside of work, I am usually busy looking after my spunky, strong-willed daughter and figuring out how to be a Dance Mom. I love to unwind by spending time in nature and reading graphic novels. I am inspired by the people in my life who show a strong sense of ethics and care for others.
